Watch out for this so-called "hemorrhoid relief" clinic. I was in agony from what I thought were hemorrhoids, and this "doctor" was more than happy to treat me. Without even examining me, she determined that I would need 3-6 treatments at several hundred dollars per. I was suspicious, but in so much pain I went ahead with it. After a month, three extremely painful treatments and $600 out of my pocket, I was in so much agony that I finally wised up and went to a credible doctor. A second opinion from a specialist immediately diagnosed the real problem, which was an anal fissure. The second doctor was able to immediately identify the real problem, and told me that she saw patient after patient that had been ripped off by these so-called "relief clinics". The specialist also told me that my condition should have been easily identified by the first "doctor", but the treatment protocol for an acute anal fissure would not have been nearly as lucrative as it is treated with topical medication. Any wonder why my real condition was mysteriously not properly diagnosed?

By the time I was properly diagnosed and I had been in agony for several months, my condition had gone from acute to chronic and I needed surgery. Don't fall prey to a rip-off clinic like Valley Health PLLC and Dr. Seaver. If you have what you think are hemorrhoids, go immediately to a credible colo-rectal specialist that will treat you for the problem you really have, not just to make a buck on the worthless (and painful) IR treatment that they make a killing on.
