Value Added Marketing, Inc ripoff. Bought 5 snack & soda combo vending machine for $9,000.00 and did not receive units fraudulent ripoff business New York New York
On December 12, 2002 I sent $200.00 to Value Added Marketing in New York for a deposit on 5 combo vending machines. I contacted this business through an ad placed in my local CO newspaper.
On January 16, 2003 I sent the remainder $8,800.00 and received a phone call acknowledging receipt from Stanley Roberts, our sales rep. He gave me a tentative shipping date of Feb 4, 2003.
Since that last communication I have been unable to contact this company even though I have left 2 messages per day with their answering service since January 20, 2003.
On Feb 14, 2003 I sent a certified letter requesting a refund. It has not been returned or answered.

Nationwide Placement, Hilton Head Island, SC ,Vending machine placement service

In my dealing with Value Added Marketing, they recommended Nationwide Placement as a locater service to help place the machines I was never to receive. This company charged me $950.00 for their services and did refund my money when it became apparent that I was scammed. What concerns me is that they vouched for Value Added as an honest and reliable company with whom they had done business with for years. Their information is as follows...239 Beach City Road, Suite 3212, Hilton head Island, SC 29926, 888-682-2152. Steve A Jeffers, president. Look twice at any company using them.
