Complaint Review: value city furniture

value city furniture the chair i purchased in Feb. broke. i have an extended warrenty. it was supposed to be fixed on 8-3-16. i was told they could not contact me because my phone number was not in service,thats a lie. i was told it could not be fixed until 8-15-16. i asked for my money back on the chair. they refused telling me i had only seven from the time of purchase to get a refund. this chair is a piece of trash and i expect a refund. merrillville Indiana

i purchased this elctric reclining chair in feb. 2016. last week the chair broke(it is leaning severly to the left) i was given a repair date of 8-3-16,the repair person never called or tried to contact me(to the best of my recollection). I talked to the manager at Value city furniture in Merrilville(the point of purchase),after asking for a refund on the chair I was told that the store does not issue refunds after seven days from the time of purchase. I tried to tell the manager what was the problem and she said there would be no refund and the chair might be fixed by the 15th of august and hung up on me. I want a refund for this piece of garbage that was sold to me.
