Less than two years ago my husband & I bought a foam king mattress set from Value City. We had done a lot of looking for a good mattress set because my usband's back had been hurting him so we wanted a comfortable mattress so he could sleep. The foam set made and sold by Value City (a Tempopedic knock-off) seemed to be what we were looking for, but we had concerns about the foam holding up without having sagging places in it after several years and we voiced our concerns to the salesman. He reassured us that theri mattresses were guarrenteed not to do that....a 20 year warrenty!! So, feeling better about our concerns we bought the set...over
$1100.00,which is a lot of money for us, but we thought we were getting a good mattress so my husband could sleep better, and after all we had a warrenty!!

Less than two years later we have dips (sunken places where we lay) so bad that I have fallen out of bed twice. When I talked to Value City I was informed that they would send a representitive to look at our mattress but if there was even one spot on our mattress that would void the warrenty and we would have to pay mileage for the representitive to visit our house (we live 80 miles away)...which we were never told about at time of purchase. I went home & looked and guess what...we have ONE spot on the mattress, so I called Value City to cancel the appointment for their representitive and ask why that spot has anything to do with the mattress not holding up. I was told that legally every mattress company has that condition in their warrenty that voids it if there are any spots on the mattress, it's a 'health' regulation!! So, I guess legally they do not have to honor the warrenty (and they aren't, of course), but I do want everyone else to know not to buy the foam mattresses from Value City.

We paid $1100.00 for less than two years of proper service and wear and now because of a legal loop hole we have a poor mattress and no money to get anything else.
