Complaint Review: Value Drivers China Venture Bruce Martin

Value Drivers China Venture, Bruce Martin Value Drivers VDCV Bruce Martin China Venture Upfront Fee Scam - Claims he can find foreign investors to fund commercial real estate projects in the US Arlington Texas

Another Upfront Fee Scam. This time disguised as a broker who says he can get foreign investors from China and Southeast Asia to fund commercial real estate projects in the US. Requires tens of thousands of dollars up front to cover his "expenses," aka his vacation in China Then claims to suffer multiple personal misfortunes during his trip to get your investment money. Food poisoning, car accidents, etc. are some of the many excuses used as to why he can't complete the funding. Says he's based in Arlington, TX, but the address used is a house under construction - not an office.

YOU WILL NEVER, EVER SEE FUNDING FROM SOMEONE WHO WANTS MONEY UPFRONT BEFORE THEY EVEN DO ANYTHING TO WORK ON YOUR FUNDING. NEVER. Almost all of them have jumped on the upfront fee bandwagon now, so it's almost impossible to find someone who will actually go through all of your project information first, then tell you whether or not it's a viable project to move forward with. They NEVER accept responsibility for the cost of doing business in their own industry. And the "all deposits are refundable" line always comes with a ton of footnotes, which basically say you'll never get your money back when they finally just stop returning your calls.

Bruce Martin Finally Surfaces

#8Consumer Comment

Thu, January 10, 2019

Bruce Martin finally has started communicating with me, and not his employees. Like Randal wrote on April 20, 2018: "Instead of taking any steps at all to try and correct the situation, like refunding the $20,000 deposit that was never spent toward the securing of our funding, he's doubling down on his lack of truthfulness and making personal threats.”

I tried to address that he borrowed $2,000 dollars for more than one year. Instead of acknowledging that he did, and make amends, Mr. Martin has now taken to threatening me, stating that he will destroy my reputation, and report me as a pedophile. Mr. Martin wrote: "I have 10 people that say your a pedophile Thats going onlie. I haven't pulled anything....I have one complaint in 25 years. f**king pedophile” All of this because he is unwilling to repay the money I lent him to get out of a Thai prison. I must say that Mr. Martin is not a rational person, and has become abusive.

BRUCE MARTIN SCAMMED ME TOO

#8Consumer Comment

Wed, January 02, 2019

BRUCE MARTIN was arrested, jailed and Deported in Bangkok, Thailand in December 2017. He had since been banned from Thailand. Unbeknownst to me, the US Embassy in Bangkok was contacted and had reports of Mr. Martin not being on the up and up. Mr. Martin borrowed $2,000 from me and has used various fronts to avoid repaying me the loan, and interest payments.

He has used various names to subvert repayment. After being released from the Immigration Police in Bangkok, a series of emails were sent by Mr. Martin claiming he was sick and on his death bed. Good day Patrick. This is Hunter. I assist Bruce.

I am trying to help him with emails. He is very concerned with you. There is health problem with Bruce. He went unconscious on plane from Tokyo to New York He was taken to hospital in New York by ambulance Saturday night and did not wake up until tonight (US Tuesday night). He us unconscious again now.

He has bacterial pneumonia with early sepsis and they still running tests. US Customs ordered him quarantined for tests. I will keep helping him tomorrow. Hunter Mr. Martin has avoided repayment and continues to be dishonest with many people.

Bruce Martin continues his scam and avoids repayment of fees

I am not Bill from Sacramento, but I can only assume that Bill is another one of Bruce Martin's ex-clients who has been ripped off via upfront fees by this criminal who says he can get foreign investment money.

As for us, we have tried to recover the upfront fees paid to Bruce Martin for his fake loan work, and had him served with lawsuit papers at his home (or at least the place he's hiding out) in Las Vegas, NV - not Arlington, TX. His Arlington TX address doesn't exist. So he was served in Las Vegas, but failed to show up for the court date, which was in Austin, TX since he claims his principal place of business is in Texas. Hence, a judgment was entered against him on our behalf, but it's impossible to pin him down now to collect the money. He's skipping all over the country apparently.

No legitimate loan broker says they have a loan offer without providing documentation of the offer from a lender or investor. No law-abiding lender or investor offers loans verbally - and they ESPECIALLY don't offer foreign investment money verbally. Bruce Martin tries to convince his clients that they do - and tries to use that to get even more upfront money from the client, as he did with us.

It doesn't surprise me that he considers the fact that I'm commenting and reporting his scam as a "badge of courage," as I guess that's what a criminal's point of view would be.

Again, run away from this guy and his scam - unless you enjoy the site of your money flushing down a toilet.

Bruce Martin Refutes Compaint, Offers Proof

#8REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, December 07, 2018

I am BRUCE MARTIN with Value Drivers Chine Venture, not an anonymous person. The author of this complaint is not Bill from Sacramento and all statements were made by the same person. For the record, I am not going to spend more than ten minutes commenting on this file as it has already engrossed more than 100 Processing and Underwriting hours. This does not include my time, which is extensive. I would simply ignore it, however at the insistence of my staff, I will say this. Value Drivers China Venture worked diligently to close this transaction up to May of 2018. It would have been extremely financially advantageous for us to do so.

In fact, the approval on this file expires only this month (December 2018). The portion of the up-front fee received from the Developers Representative was $10,000, not $20,000 as stated in the complaint. To be factual, Value Drivers paid the additional $10,000 to reach the $20,000 required by the Asian Investment Group (and lost this money). Additionally, the file was approved before Value Drivers requested the fee, which was required by the group. This exchange of funds was fully documented by bank wires, as required by regulation. However, the claim that we did not refund the up-front money in this case ($10,0000) is 100% CORRECT, with just cause. The Developers Representative violated pretty much every clause of the contract almost immediately. However, we continued to process the file in good faith as we were confident it would eventually close.

Even after the Developers’ Representatives’ behavior resulted in the loss of a valued employee, as well as dampening the relationship of the investor originally tasked with funding this project. The rest of the comments such as the house where I had lived in for 5 years not existing are incredibly false, a story simply made up and easily documented as such. If anyone has any questions regarding this file, please email directly at Bruce@valuedriverschinaventure.com and I will happily set a time to go over the specifics of this file as well as the countless number of successful transactions completed by Value Drivers over the past ten years.

In fact, 2018 will be our best year since we started overseas Real Estate Services, EB 5 Project Funding, and arranging Financing for U.S. Projects that simply can’t qualify for Institutional U.S. funds. Surprisingly, my staff views our first internet complaint as a badge of courage. Additionally, in contradiction to the statement by this website that overseas investors don’t require up-front fees is ludicrous. Anyone who does business requiring overseas funding know this. Other than this statement in December 2018, I will have no further comment regarding this issue on this extortion website or any other. Coincidently, this website was recently banned from the EU because it allows anyone to make a statement about anybody without a shred of evidence or documentation.

Bruce Martin becomes increasingly threatening

#8Consumer Comment

Sat, April 21, 2018

It's been a month since we discovered that Bruce Martin had no intention whatsoever of providing the funding he said he could provide (and after he was given a $20,000 upfront deposit). Now that he's seen that we have reported him on this site, he has become threatening - both stalking and harrassing - for us reporting the truth about his unethical operation.

Instead of taking any steps at all to try and correct the situation, like refunding the $20,000 deposit that was never spent toward the securing of our funding, he's doubling down on his lack of truthfulness and making personal threats.

Bruce Martin and his Value Drivers China Venture should be completely avoided. Make every attempt to find your funding elsewhere, because you'll never get it through Bruce Martin. Not to mention all of the extra time it takes to deal with all of his childish emails and phone calls at all hours of the night.

My Previous Post was 100% Wrong. The original post by Bill in Sacramento is 100% Correct

My previous post, just a few days ago, stated how great this Bruce Martin was, and that he was providing all of the funding we needed. Well, when it came time that we needed the docs from the actual lender, Bruce became offended and very insulting that we should ask for such a thing. I have never, ever, had a Broker become offended when asked to provide the docs from the actual lender. It's just a part of the process. I can't even fathom how this Bruce Martin thought any funding was going to be closed without those docs.

What it came down to was, he wanted even MORE of an upfront deposit (after already receiving $20,000) to continue moving forward. His word means nothing. There was NO investor or lender. There was NO funding. It was just another scam.

My advice is: Don't even bother with this guy. He talks a good game, but there is nothing behind it. He will take your upfront money and use it for overseas vacations. He is headed for multiple lawsuits over this one.

Value Drivers China Venture and Bruce Martin are an excellent source of capital

#8General Comment

Fri, March 16, 2018

I am familiar, on a first hand basis, with the situation reported above regarding Value Drivers China Venture and Bruce Martin. While I don't know who filed this initial complaint against this company, I can report the truthful outcome of the transaction in question.

Whoever filed this complaint had obviously not had much experience in closing capital transactions of this nature. These type of transactions, and this transaction in particular, don't involve overnight closings. There is some patience required, although it surprisingly doesn't take as much time as a person might think.

In this case, Bruce handled our transaction extremely well and secured the full amount of capital we needed. Most lenders / investors seem to come up short on capital needs, leaving the borrower to scramble for the difference. Bruce worked very hard to obtain the entire amount we needed. He was also great in communicating the status of the transaction along the way, especially given the circumstances he had to overcome to keep it moving forward. Bruce personally travels overseas to meet with the potential lenders/investors, and anyone who has traveled overseas knows some of the challenges that can arise in other countries. Health issues are particularly challenging when eating foods prepared with water and other ingredients that a person wouldn't be used to if they didn't live there. So it was especially commendable that Bruce kept us informed through his staff, even as he dealt with the health issues described above.

To sum up, Bruce secured our funds, even with challenges beyond his control, in a much shorter time frame than we expected - and in the FULL AMOUNT necessary for us to move forward with our project! I highly recommend Bruce Martin and Value Drivers to anyone seeking this type of capital.
