Complaint Review: Value Furniture - Mattress Warehouse

I ordered a dinig room set on 11/15/05-$1705.40
I had on 11/17/05 delivered only the chairs not the table.

They promised to deliver the table on the next business day and since than is been a week. I asked for a refund but they do not want to give me the refund seeing "that i have the chairs and I signed for the chairs that means that I was happy with the chairs and what else do I want". And is the store policy that a refund is issued if the merchandise thoes not get deliverd in time.

I asked for the corporate office # and they refused to give me that #. I could never got in tuch with the manager-Jessie- the last name is mystery-you can not find out anything about this company.

They hang up the phone on me or put on hold for more than 45 minutes. Is like a conspiracy they can not wait to get the money from you and whatever they give you -is fine-you have to be hapy .

I paid with a debit card and I dont now how long is take the procedures with the Small Claim Court. And of course I will file a comlaint with Beter Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. I am realy wandering after so many complains how a business is still open. The consumers are not protected.
