Value Healthcare oSCommerce No delivery Sheffield, United Kingdom, Internet
I ordered a Capsule Kit plus 1000 empty capsules to the Value of 21,85 British Pounds Sterling from Value Healthcare on 13 Oct. 2009.
A confirmation of order email was sent immediately with payment details.
I transferred the amount of 32 Euros to the account of Doherty and Associates Ltd through international banking on the same day, 13 October 2009.
I sent an email on 10 November 2009 requesting information on the status of the order. No response was received. I also sent an email using the contact link on their website. Still no reply.
I telephoned the contact number, and received an answering machine message saying "The person you are looking for is not available at the moment". I left a message with the details of my order and requested some feedback. No response.
A week later I telephoned again, this time there was the telekom message "No connection to this number".
I emailed again, and still received no reply. I placed a bogus order to see whether their system was still functioning, and received the standard confirmation of order with banking details and all.
How can a company do this? They do not deliver the goods, but happily retain the money transferred to them. Then they do not respond to any emails or telephone calls.
I suspect that this company does not exist, but maintains the internet presence in order to cash in on more orders for goods that will never be delivered.
