Value Place Extended Stay Value Place, Value Place Midland Is trying to steal money from my husband's credit card! Midland, Texas
My husband went to work in Midland/Odessa area in Texas. He found Value Place online through HotWire.com and it looked like a good place for a cheaper price than the other motels and hotels in that area. He had to charge a $100.00 deposit to his card when he made the reservations online, which he has not been refunded. Okay, fine for that, but they then decided to charge $77.00 two different times on the following Friday, without notifying anyone they were doing it. He has no idea what or why they are trying to charge his card. We have both tried to contact any type of Value Place employee, with no luck and no callbacks to messages left. I even tracked down the president of Value Place and left a message on his voice mail, and he hasn't even tried to return my call. We are also afraid that they are going to try to charge more money to his card, even though he has left there and went to stay somewhere else. It's bad enough we got ripped off from the start with having to pay about $200.00 - $300.00 more than HotWire.com had them listed as when he got there, then while he is staying there, the internet he payed $10.00 a day for never worked at all and there was no water at all for almost 2 days for maintenance.

Value Place Has Corrected the Problem

I reported that Vale Place was trying to steal from my husband's credit card. We have finally talked t someone about this issue and it was resolved. They were not trying to steal from us. There was a problem running our credit card for a charge that we did owe them. Everything is straightened out.
