I placed an order for a hot tub in May 2014, to be custom built to my specifications. The hot tub was to be delivered in August due to manufacturing time. They were very friendly at first, and anxious to do business.

 

In August, the week before it was to be delivered, I contacted them via telephone to ensure that everything was on track and they assured me that it was, and that my hot tub would be delivered on the agreed upon date. 

 

Finally the date of promised delivery came, and I still hadn't recieved any communication related to shipping or delivery. I called the customer service line, and spoke to Jenny who told me that the order was on hold as a result of a dispute between Value Point Distribution and the hot tub manufacturer. She told me that the order was to be cancelled, but I wouldn't be able to get my money back for months due to a lawsuit between Value Point and the manufacturer. Its obvious that they had lost my money.

 

I immediately contacted my credit card company to inform them of the situation, and luckily I was still within the period of time which would allow me to dispute the charge. I got the money back from my bank the next day, however now they are going to have to fight this "company" to get the money back.

The low prices they offer make this company very tempting to purchase from, but they are a complete rip off and need to be avoided.
