In May I had my 2003 towed to a nearbty Valvoline Quick Lube, a message was sent to me that auto needed a fuel pump replacement, I contacted a Cadillac repair shop to have vehicle towed to their shop but owner of the Valvoline Quick Lube sent a msg to me that he had already ordered the part at a $50.00 savings and would have car repaired w/in 2 days. In 2 days my repairs had escalated to include a battery, and gaskets, now $1500.00 or more. I visited the shop when I could not reach owner after 4 or 5 days and was told by his assistant that my Cadillac had been taken to another garage to see if they could locate the problem (owner denied ths ever happened)
After 6 weeks and many legal consults I went to obtain and was refused, vehicle was stored off premises. I called the police on 2 occassions to assist me in obtaining procession of my vehicle but the owner would disappear.
Finally after 2 months I agreed to pay but owner could not present a itemized statement, nor tell me where my repairs were done and also refused to allow a Cadillac repair shop to take possessions to make needed repairs. This is a drive through quick lube and does not have Certified Mechanics to perform extensive work on this type car, only technicians, nor do they have the space. On today, 07/01/ owner requested me to sign a contract releasing the company and all entities of any malfuctioning of vehicle once in my possession, I refused and was refused car until I called a Law enforcer who came over to assist me in obtaining my auto, and ordered owner to locate car and presnt it to me immediately after payment.
Owner said battery was bad and he had placed a $127.00 in auto (w/out my permission), I refused to pay for battery and asked to have it placed back in car, car started immediately with out any hesitant-the battery wasn't bad at all-RIP-OFF.
