Vanderbilt Mortage ripoff Greenboro North Carolina
We've had problems ever since Oakwood Acceptance filed Bankruptcy. And Vanderbilt Mortage took over on loan.
They claim, and still claim that we are 3 months behind on
our mortage payments. It's now been over a year since they've taken over, and we've sent them 6 yrs of copied checks. One for each month of payments. And we still can't get them to correct theier errors. They call almost daily, asking the same thing, or telling us to pay or get out. And the yrefuse to speak to our attorney. Vanderbilt refuses to give us our pay off. So we can't refinance to get away from them..
The steps we've taken :
1.) Filed complaint w/ Dept. of Financial Inst.
(check your states listing)
2.)Filed complaint w respa
(go to Respa.com ) division of HUD
3.)Filed compaint w/ Federal Trade Commission
(check your state's listing )
We are seeking other's to file class action suite

It's been 3 months, and over $1,000.00 in legal fees. Now I am behind one month in my house payment. My Husband was in the hospital from
10-4-5 thru 10-21-05....and he's not back to work yet ...I'm doing payday loans, to try and keep
our home...don't know how much longer. We've been
trying to refinance, but the minute they hear, that it's a legal matter....no one will refinance
us... and still no word from all the folks and the state and federal people...
