I have sat here and read all the other peoples reports about Vanderbilt and it makes me cringe to see all the same things happening to our family as well. We purchased our home in Feb. of 2004. Right after we moved into the home my husband injured himself on his job and was out of work due to surgery and therapy for over a year, we are still trying to get out of the hole. At this point we are only due for September payment, not even 30 days past ans they are already harrasing us. Justin handles our account and leaves very disturbing messages of how we cant keep our word, and so on. Our home is falling apart also, the roof is all ripling, our floors are wavy and lumpy, the boards are pulling away from the others, our carpet is nailed down as well, where if we step in the wrong place it really hurts. We were also told to contact to file a claim, they came out and said nothing was wrong it is normal. Yeah right. And the air conditioner, always breaking... I now have our home for sale because of these ignorant harrasing jerks, I want out from under there thumb, what can we do to stop these people. My payments went up almost $100 dollars for escrow, insurance purposes this is ridiculous. Any suggestion??? Please help us honest people trying to make a living...

Ok, I posted a few months ago about what was going on with our loan...Our payment was $465 a month, now mysteriously it has gone up to $540..Supposedly for insurance. We had some very bad events take place these last couple of months and yes we did fall behind..

On last Thursday we recieved a call from Justin at VM, we admit we were 1 month behind and I had $300 to pay right at that moment and would get the rest in the following week, our payment for Oct. was just due but before they told us they would give us til the 10th of the month..No , so not true, They sent me to a supervisor by the name of Phillip and he informed me that the full amount of 1,080 had to be paid by the following day before 5:30 pm or they would start the repo process, they could not take a check by phone, it had to be western union or moneygram, so here I am crying my eyes out not knowing what to do, Phillip says borrow the money from somebody, so I ask" If we fail to come up with the money, how long will I have to remove our belongings from the home, he says one week, then they will put our stuff in a storage if we fail to remove it...

So I call my father in law for the money, call Justin the next morning and tell him my father in law wants to make the payments, he calls him on a conference call to verify and low and behold he takes the payment by check...hmmm, just the day before they said that was unacceptable...and I have also learned I would have 30 days to remove from the home...they are decietful creeps, I hope all rot in hell, they have caused us so much stress , I am at my wits end, we have put the home for sale, hopefully it goes pretty quickly,

I cant take it anymore, I no longer am living in the home, due to the fact the next door neighbors son sexually abused my 10 yr old for 2 years, he is in jail the the mother is still there and has offered no apologies, wa getting very stressful being around her, so now they are saying we abandoned the home, how is that, my stuff is still there, Im making my payments...Please somebody out there, please help all of us victims, I need it...and I cant even sue the neighbor for what happened to my son, why??? Because the loan and insurance is not in her name, it is in her best friends, ok, by law, the homeowner is supposed to live in the home, no to be lived in by someone not on the loan...any answers to that one...
Well thanks for listening all, and I wish everyone the best of luck...
