I hastly purchased a home from Vanderbuilt in 2001 which was at the time using the name Love Homes, (now switched to Clayton Homes).

They charged me 63000.00 at 10% interest. I then saw the same home brand new for 38000,00 in NC.

They never put the middle cinder block collum under my home thus making it sag, cracking the walls.

I repeatedly called and wrote certified letters of complaints. The home had black mold in the kitchen, the cabinets were hung wrong and drooped from the frames.

All the windows leaked and where the home halves were put together were not sealed. I called the company who sent out 2 obviously intoxicated men who ran one bead of caulk then left for lunch.

My attempts to remedy this went unattended for 5 yrs. until the warranty expired. Now my husband is disabled and we are 2 month behind. They accepted the payment but still say they are forclosing and Preisdent Obahma's new rule that "no forclosures for 12 Months" does not apply to them.

They came to my home tried to open my door, while my family was inside. They corner my grandchildren outside demanding to know where I am. They sit outside my home, and down the street stalking me. All this time I am in my home on oxygen because I now have heart problems and breathing problems I am 63 yrs old.

There is so much more to report but not enough room in this area to write it all. I cannot afford an attorney and Vanderbilt knows this.

It's a simple concept....are your payments late??

Sorry for your hardship, but it has nothing to do with the lender foreclosing, that's based on your payment history.

It doesn't matter what the "same home" sells for in North Carolina or anywhere else.

Best of luck with your life, you're sure to need it.
