I too have had a very bad experience with Vanderbilt Mortgage. They do nothing but harrass. harrass and harrass. Their customer service is horrible!!! Last month, they even made me cry and I wasn't even late in my payments. And you can forget asking for a supervisor. I don't think that they even have those there. They would LOVE to approve your loan, and then harrass you for the rest of your life (because that it how long it would take you to pay off the loan due to the HIGH interest rates). If it were up to me, EVERYONE in the WORLD would live in a stick built home. That way you can pick your mortgage company and not have to worry about customer service. At this point I am looking to sell my home or rent it out and move to a stick built home neighborhood. I currently have a lawyer and we are looking to press harrassment charges and if it goes well, then we might try to get others involved as well. I won't stop until a law is passed saying that these mobile home mortgage companies can not take advantage of their vulnerable low income customers. Its sad and horrible that BIG BUSINESS runs America.
