Vanderbilt Mortgage, TN Reports Incorrect Information to Credit Bureaus and Won't Change it! Ripoff Maryville Tennessee
I closed my mortgage with Vanderbilt Mortgage in 12/2000. For seven long years I have fought with them regarding incorrect information being reported to the credit bureaus. My most recent credit bureau report shows a 30 day late payment 2/2006! I HAVEN'T HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM SINCE 2000!!! HOW COULD I BE LATE FEBRUARY OF 2006?? I contact them yearly and they fix it, then less than 3 months later, something new shows up. NOW, they are telling me that they are reporting it to the credit bureaus correctly, the credit bureaus are reporting it wrong. The credit bureaus are telling me that Vanderbilt it reporting it wrong! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO???? HELP ME!!!!!
Their personnel are unprofessional, illiterate, emotionless, heartless and RUDE!

I would suggest filing a report with the Attorney General in Tennessee. Use a search engine and find the website. I've already filed a complaint regarding incorrect amortization and now I am forced to file another for bogus late charges. I've completed a transfer of equity through Vanderbilt to a new buyer and I've been charged large late fees that are not correct. I hope that my credit now shows the loan closed.
Good luck!
