Vanguard Vinyl Coatings offers 3 grades of paint. I purchased the best quality paint he had. Never paint again, this has a lifetime warranty. The house was painted in 2005. Vanguard also offers a low grade paint that has a 10 year warranty, but so far the best paint has not out performed the low grade. The paint has faded from its original color and has become chalky. I paid $6900.00 for this paint.
Vanguard has offered a pressure cleaning service at $400.00 per year. I have purchased 3 of these in the past but have discontinued because of poor service. Under the cleaning service they will clean the outside and touch up any paint areas. Vanguard has offered to repaint one side of the house per year under the cleaning service. This will take 4 years to complete and $1600.00 for a Never Paint Again Paint and lifetime warranty product.
I must conclude that this paint is immune to everything except light, dirt, and my wallet. This company has misleading advertising and does not stand behind its product.
After this was disputed with the BBB, Vanguard has offered to repaint my house at no charge, this was July 2012. He agreed to repaint in December or January. In December I tried to contact Vanguard by phone, text, and email with no reply. It is now April 2013.

My house was painted 7 years ago by this company. I bought the best paint they had, Never paint again, life time warranty. The paint has faded even in places where the sun never shines.The contractor will not honer his warranty and wants to charge me again to repaint.

BUSINESS RESPONSE : We are in contact with the costomer at this time. The customer was advised that fading is not a warranty issue...it is not considered a failure of the product and is not covered in the warranty. We have offered the customer a resolution to the issue and it will be fixed upon an agreeable conclusion to both parties.

VANGUARD VINYL COATINGS, INC. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY (NON PRO-RATED) (TRANSFERABLE)
Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. products are manufactured using the highest quality raw materials and produced with technological excellence designed to provide years of near maintenance-free protection for your home or building.
1. Warranty. Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. warrants exclusively to the original purchaser
of our Liquid Vinyl product, for as long as the original purchaser is still living and is the owner of the property for which our products were applied, that Liquid Vinyl applied to that property will not peel, rot or blister solely because of defects in materials and manufacturing.
Should these defects occur during the lifetime of the original purchaser. while said purchaser is the owner of the property to which Liquid Vinyl has been applied, and provided that the Warranty is properly registered with Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. and the claim reported as stated below, Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. will replace the defective portion of the Liquid Vinyl in accordance with the following:
(a) This Warranty covers only specified damages arising solely from defects in manufacturing the Liquid Vinyl. It does not cover failures of, or damages to, Liquid Vinyl resulting from settlement of structures on which the products are installed: shifting of structural members or adjoining surfaces: failure of the structure (including foundation, walls, substrates, materials, prior coatings, impacts from foreign objects, accidental damage or negligences); intentional acts or damages; fire, wind hail, floods, light*, acts of God; faulty or improperly installed materials; misuses; improper care or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance of the product; interior moisture conditions; normal and expected weathering of surfaces; failure of any surface to which Liquid Vinyl was applied by movements, settling, condensation, mildew, exposure to harmful chemicals, vapors, acid, acid ran, surface discoloration due to atmospheric pollution, rusty metal, rust stains, tannin stains, or the installation of accessories or other products which are incompatible with the Liquid Vinyl products or which arc installed in a manner detrimental to the performance of the Liquid Vinyl.
(b) For valid claims relating to manufacturing defects made and approved within two (2) years of the date of original installation, no services change payment will be required. For claims made and approved after two (2) years of the date of original installation, Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. will provide remedy as set forth herein upon payment by the original purchaser of transferee owner of a service fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per each and every claim made.
2. Transfer of Warranty.
This Warranty is transferable by the original owner to subsequent owners of the property provided Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. receives written notice from the transferee of the transfer of the property, along with a transfer fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), within thirty (30) days from the date of real estate title transfers. Failure to notify Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. of the transfer will relieve Vanguard Vinyl Coatings, Inc. of any further obligation under this Warranty.

As of March 2014 Vanguard Vinyl Coatings has not repainted my house.
Multible attemps have been made to reach them with no reply.
Even sent them the link to ripoff report.
