Vault Payment Solutions And Lease Finance Group LLC Lied to, mislead, ignored, harassed, and fighting mad!! Portland Oregon
My story is much like many I have read. I was contacted by a sales representative from Vault Payment Solutions located in Portland, Oregon and this young man sweet talked me into signing up for credit card services for both my stores. I agreed as long as I could have a trial period. So Vault agreed to a 45 day trial... I signed all the paperwork without reading all the fine print assuming the young man was sincere and honest. I was lead to believe I had 45 days to make a final decision.
Well, it was less then 2 weeks and money was being withdrawn from my account and more then I was told. I contacted Mike, the salesman, and told him I wanted to cancel because he had obviously not disclosed all charges. He told me no one ever cancels and that he would pay the charges out of his own pocket. I delclined, and asked him to send me the required paperwork to cancel the agreement. I received it, filled it out, and mailed it.
We were also required to return the equipment and did so within the 45 days. I also filed stop payments at the bank. I called the lease company and told them I was cancelling and they informed me I had a noncancellable lease and couldn't. I explained I had a 45 day trial. They said that had nothing to do with them. I asked then what could I do to settle the account. They informed me I would need to pay them $2009.
Well, I told them that would never happen. I contacted Vault via email and asked them to honor the trial agreement and satisfy the agreement with the lease company. I called, emailed, wrote them with no response. So I filled with the Better Business Bureau and Vault responded with lies. They said we didn't cancel within the 45 day period. Then I filled a complaint with the State Attorney General and they said they couldn't help. The lease company calls day in and day out, all day long at my home as well as my businesses.
I found all these complaints online about Lease Finance Group and couldn't believe it. I can't believe these companies are getting away with ripping so many people off. Vault Payment Solutions is in bed with Lease Finance Group LLC. I intend to file more complaints with other organizations and have an attorney get involved. I am more then willing to help with a class action. If anyone has had any success in getting these companies to give up please let me know...

Kathy, thanks so much for your reference to Vault Payment Solutions. I was glad to hear from someone else who has dealt with them. In order to stop these companies we need people to come forward with their personal experiences with these jokers.! I can't believe I fell for their bull. Someday they will pay... what goes around comes around. Robin

I see that Vault has an answer to my report. However, once again they are lying. The BBB admitted this issue could not be settled ... due to the fraudulent information given to them by Vault...which we would not accept. The Attorney General Office reviewed the information I sent them and only said they didn't handle such matters. Read all the Rip off reports about Lease Finance Group... Vault is the company who signs up business with this company. Vault is just as bad. They lie to get signatures. They sell the leases to LFG... Vault is located in Portland, Oregon, however, there are other companies in almost every state doing the same thing. Read the reports yourself. So this has not been settled at all. We are still working to stop these unethical practices. I won't stop until something has been done. It will happen.

I do not know why it says this was settled... it has NOT been settled. These companies are getting away with fraud. LFG calls us 5+ times daily and Vault never responds. Something has to be done. So just so everyone is clear...NOTHING has been settled.

This dispute was solved amicably. Both the BBB and State Atty Gen agreed that Vault had no wrongdoing. Read the report here: http://alaskaoregonwesternwashington.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=114&bbb=1296&firm=22212466
