In response to Phil who filed on 12-18, VCStore filed Chapter bankruptcy and closed its doors several months ago. The Pennsylvania Attorney General is currently investigating them and their business practices for possible consumer and mail fraud. You are entitled to file a claim with the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Philadelphia for your unpaid rebates although you chances of getting much more than a penny on the dollar are, in my opinion, pretty slim.

I am probably one of the few people who ordered a system from those cretins and received what I ordered, albeit it took months of weekly telephone calls to do so. The only thing I failed to receive was the rebate from the computer manufacturer, Everex. In talking to an Everex customer service representative I learned that VCStore closed its doors owing them more than $7,000,000! No wonder they aren't enthused about making good on rebates. Still, their business problems aren't mine and I intend to continue to press them for the refund which they offered without restrictions regarding the stupidity of their management in allowing anyoe to get that deep in debt to them.

Rebuttal:

The person above is wrong. There IS a good chance you'll get more then pennies on the dollar. You may get your money back! There's been more activity with the case and at the bankruptcy court, and millions more dollars apparently will be made available to any consumer filing a legitimate claim against VCSTORE.
