Mike Walker of vdo-specialties is a con, fraud, ripoff. I sent my ps2 into him for repair on december 2001, he kept giving excuse after excuse as to why it was taking so long,
finally after 4 months later i receive my still broken ps2, and a few weeks later a check for my refund which by the way was no good, I proceeded to e-mail him and only received smart mouth so called "law student" knowledge on how he has committed no crime,
i then proceeded to let him know that I was taking legal action he then after two months in June sent another check to replace the first one, but of course I tried to verify funds prior to cashing check and of course the check was not good,
so be aware he and his company are ripoffs ., however there are things we can do, I have files a complaint with the better business bureau, I have filed a law suit with the district attorneys office here in Miami, which is in process, and i filed a report with the Ifcc, which is a part of the fbi,go to ifccbi.gov to file your report.
I also have been in contact with the Distrcit attorney's office in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, they know him very well also. If enough of us step forward and take action we can close him down for good, by the way I also have been in contact with the sheriff's dept in chippewa falls, they know him really well, feel free to call him and complain as well.

Another interesting tidbit from VDO's web site:

Explanation: VDO has screwed so many people, a plethora of (credit card) charge-backs occurred. This cramps his style on perpetrating his ongoing fradulent activities. The "fraud attempts" to which he alludes are undoubtedly his own, and became "attempts" after a charge-back by a card holder took place.

OMG this is hilarious! This thief is using a Doctor's title now? Actually, I'm not surprised since he could be considered a proctologist with all the people he's made an a*s of by stealing their money (myself included).
I can only hope all these reports will mean something to law enforcement one day to do something about it. How his site is still up to this day is beyond anything considered reasonable.
How many people have to be victimized by this idiot before the law shuts him down? I can only hope his bankruptcy was denied and that people will not be stupid enough to send a check or money order to this low life for anything.

I used vdo-specialties once and got ripped off by them.
My advice is that anyone that is thinking of using this company should do a search before making any purchases. A quick search for vdo-specialties on ebay will display numerous complaints about this company. He does have a lot of good reviews but the number of negative ones is alarmingly high.

I couldn't keep quiet any longer!!! This is just too good to pass up. Let's just look at the FACTS.
1. VDO Specialties, LLC is NOT incorporated. It is a one man operation. Limited Liability Company, not Corporation. Must have "articles" for that.
2. VDO Specialties is included in the bankruptcy filed by Mike and Brenda Walker dba VDO Specialties, Pilot Specialties and Accessory Specialties are not included in his bankruptcy, even though they should have been. Oh yeah, forgot to mention his new company PilotExam. Check out his website with the same name. [Remember "DR" WALKER (his latest and greatest title), everything you say can be used against you in a court of law.]
3. If your business is so strong as you state, why then do you even need to file bankruptcy? P.S. How is the plane coming along? [Everything you say can be used against you in a court of law]
4. You were divorced over 10 years ago, didn't the bankruptcy you filed in 1996 take care of all that debt? What happened to the wife you married in 1993? Court records show you are still married. This last bankruptcy filed in 2002 was jointly filed.
5. Law degrees and doctorates are earned by going to college for many years, not by surfing the internet and finding some fly-by-night certificate. According to your "Law" Schools own policy, you would only be able to practice law in California and only AFTER you attended post secondary classes. (Oh, didn't you read the fine print or FAQs?)
6. According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, you never filed suit against anyone by the name of John Eckberg in the state of Wisconsin. Could you mean the other Wisconsin?
7. Suspended from EBAY under VDO-SPECIALTIES for having too many complaints against you? Notice you tried selling under PILOTEXAM and got suspended from there too...anymore aliases we should know about?
8. Website VDO Specialties claims that you must read and agree to all terms, however, law states that the businesses must offer to make alternate provisions when the process exceeds a certain number of days. You can't just take someone's money and not expect them to question you. You promised them a product if they agreed to pay you. If you were doing something legal and ethical, you would not be so defensive when a customer requested a refund.
9. After reading Mr. Walker's bankruptcy files, it appears the entire bankruptcy may be dismissed. US Trustee, Attorney, Walz, filed a motion to do so on Dec 16. 2002. You must have really angered this trustee (or someone).
10. BBB...I won't even go there...
These are the FACTS. There are more, but I don't think this is the right time or place. The courts will see to it that "Dr." Walker takes responsibility for his own actions.

VDO Specialties is not Bankrupt and is still in buniess and very strong.
The customer named John Eckberg is a customer that ripped us off trying to claim he did not rceive his PS2 he orderd, and also preformed a chargeback with his credit card company. When in fact we have a deivery Conformation from the post office that it was deliverd,
We then sued him for the amount that he owed us. He was not to be found when the process server tried to serve papers on him, this was a wisconsin lawsuit, we dimmissed the lawsuit as it was beyond 90 days that he hid and could not be served. We are suing him in Coral Gables and then it will only be required to be mailed to him.
He is a disgruntled Customer and all we ask is that he pay the $168, that he owes us.
I repeat VDO is not Bankrupt, VDO is a incorporated Business, it is my own personal bankruptcy due to a past divorce and personal bills owed at that time.

If you are threatened by VDO, know that they (Walker) cannot sue you since filing bankruptcy. If you are sue'd, contact the Region 11 Bankruptcy division in Madison and ask for Tom Walz.
Any claim Walker makes needs trustee permission. Even by some snow balls chance in hell, Walker were to win a suit, he would not see a dime of your money since the bankruptcy trustee would get it first (if they even bothered to pursue the judgement).
Mikey is a bag of hot air, he likes using scare tactics and is BROKE! Do yourself a favor and set your email spam filters to kill anything from the vdo-specialties.com domain.

If you can prove he owes you something and has NOT listed you as a creditor, you can still pursue him in the courts after the bankruptcy is discharged.
