Mike Walker is absolute scum, period. I don't see how he manages to keep his business running. I guess people just don't research this jerk hole before doing business with him (like what happened to me when I first ordered from him). But I have never heard of a transaction that ended up in a positive manner when dealing with Mike Walker (he's notorious for ripping people off...he even stole that Atlas Kit idea for the PSX from his partner).

I ordered a playstation part from him and my order said "pending" for over a week. I politely emailed him asking what was going on. I did not receive a single reply.

To see if my emails were going through, I used a different email address and pretended to be someone else...and I got a reply within 5 seconds! He's efficient and kind when he's trying to get your business, but that's where it ends! Once you place your order with him, you've lost all your rights as a consumer.

The only way I got him to reply to an email was when I told him that I wanted to cancel my order. And that's when the rudeness, cursing, and threats started (which was all barely readable due to his horrible grammar and spelling). Instead of even trying to negotiate...he immediately threatened me and said that they would sick his collection agency after me if I did a chargeback. When I did perform a chargeback, he sent my item out immediately...and threatened to sue me if I didn't reverse the chargeback.

By this time, I didn't even want his stupid part..but he said that I HAD to accept it as it was a contract...and he'd refuse any returns I attempted to make.

Then the dipstick threatened to make a federal case out of this transaction (which was 12.95). My brother (a REAL attorney and a federal clerk) told me that 12.95 fell a bit shy of the 75,000 minimum to file in Fed court... but Mike Walker, the Expert Attorney (sarcastic tone) said that my brother knew nothing about the law and to quit playing attorney. Mike called himself an "academic attorney" (snickers).

He's as close to being an attorney as I am to being named Miss Universe. Don't believe any of his threats...he's just a big blowhard and can't do anything...he wishes he were an attorney. When it all comes down to it, Mike Walker is just all talk... he has no knowledge of the law and no knowledge of running an honest business!

Knowing Mike...he'll probably say that this is libel...well guess what bud?!?!?...it's not...because every word is true! Don't like it?...sue me!...you big strong attorney, you.

I'm not a lawyer, I don't even play one on TV!

I'm not a lawyer, I don't even play one on TV. Isn't it against the law to pose as an officer of the court? Just wondering.

I hope after the "lawyer" sues his customer (who sounds like he ultimately paid, eh?), for that whopping $12.95, that the customer turn around and sue him for frivolous and malicious prosecution. I don't think the courts generally favor frivolous suits that waste everyone's time. Especially "lawyers" who should know better.

You, sir, are the worst type of person to pursue a law career if that is indeed true. Petty, vindictive, generally evil. Going to law school so you can sue everyone in sight who looks at you cross-eyed.

Hymm, in 20 years I predict a miserable life for you, my friend.

Attorney - Is he or isn't he??

#5Consumer Suggestion

Sun, January 12, 2003

Hmmm,

Here he files a rebuttle saying - and I quote, "And we NEVER stated ever to anyone that we are an attorney,"

yet...

from the google newsgoups, he writes the following to a customer:

Subj: RE: USENET
Date: 3/6/00 9:25:58 PM Pacific Standard Time
From: vdospec@vdo-specialties.com (VDO Specialties)
To: WMaster13

I'm the Lawyer Jerky Boy...

Now start Talking...

This is the best part, why do you think I wanted to be a Lawyer???

Video Specialties LLC.

- so again - is he or isn't he? Delusional? Bi-polar? Bi-sexual? Definitely a thief and a liar. Let's all hope for the best and wait for news that he's going to jail to rot where he belongs!

You did not READ the Rules or FAQ's

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, January 10, 2003

This is again simple, you are required to click the "I Agree button" on our web site before you are allowed to place the order.

It states that you have read the FAQ and also agreed that you did and understood them.

If you did not read it, we cannot help you, the rules are plain and simple.

When you Dad had to get a VCR Repair or TV Repaired, most electronic parts are special ordered, thus we already placed the order for you with our suppliers, with our own money.

It states that we do not allow order cancellations because of this matter, plain and simple, we would be stuck with a useless part most of the time.

Now you waited notice only a week, when we state it can take longer than that, you seem to not understand this because you did not read what you agreed to, and that you stated you understtod.

So let me get this straight, just because we refused to cancell th order and refnd you, we are now Scum, and a ripoff because we will not do what you want right?

But you agreed to our rules and services by hitting the "I agree button"?

That is not righ and very wrong, you are not allowed to change the rules.

And we NEVER stated ever to anyone that we are an attorney, we stated that our legal actions happen faster and quick as I'm a law student and know the system better than most people and I represent my own compnay in all matters, so really I can file a legal complaint in less than 2 days most of the time, and we will file againest wron'gs such as these.

You kids have to learn that you have to read the Conditions of sale as you agreed to a sales contract, and if you did get legal consul they would tell you that you agreed Bernie, plain and simple.

And posting this kind of report is on the verge of Libel, you really dramatized this whole thing.

#1. you only waited 1 week, then though you could get it somewhere else faster, so you decide to cancel it, but failed to read the rules now you cvannot so you decide to streatch the truth a bit and try to dmage our reputation to teach us a lesson.

#2, you have to be very carefull what you post on the internet nowdays, it is not just a BBS anymore, this is serious damaging statements you have made, and really it is all your own fault.

And we do Sue people and will be contacting you to correct or revise this complaint. Simple and Quick.

Costs To Me

#50

Sat, August 03, 2002

I received a call that asked me to update my report with an estimate of what my experience with VDO and Mike Walker cost me.

Obviously, the 12.95 that I was forced to pay (even though I no longer wanted the item as he took so long to process...and would not provide any status info).

It did cost me a lot of time as I had to decipher his hard to read emails and reply to his meaningless threats.

Most Importantly, this transaction gave me one serious headache. I have never had such an awful transaction onilne. I've had late shippers before, but they reply...honestly...and let me know when my item will ship (which is all I wanted to know). When I'm ignored...I feel ripped off. Mike Walker ALWAYS has to be right...which makes him impossible to deal with.
