It sure looked easy, convienient and legit. VEGAS.COM, good leget website name. BUT........ BEWARE, they are crooks! I booked round-trip first class tickets through VEGAS.COM, and a suite at the Venitian. Flight out was fine, the room was fine...... then the trouble started! Let m take a break from the review to offer a mental image .... I'm 6'2, and when I buy my shirts there are two "X"s in front of the "L". So I pay the extra $$ for not only my comfort, but for the comfort of those around me. Back to the review......... My wife and I proceed to check-in on our return flight -(returning to Philadelphia, so a good long flight) and rather than the first class seats we paid for, Vegas.com has reserved us the absolute opposite of first class. We are in the last row, non-reclining, tiny, middle seats. Yep, 4 days of drinking and gambling, or friends at VEGAS.COM place my buttox in a 12 inch wide torture vessel. I was polite, when I called VEGAS.COM. I was pleasant, when I called VEGAS.COM. The customer service representative I finally was able to speak with may have been an extra in The Stepford Wifes!!!! "Yessir, Nosir, I understand sir" "I can't help you sir. It's out of my hands sir. You'all have to contact the airline sir" Ok, what do I do? I go up to the American Airlines gate agent, explains my problem. Gate agent response,"I'm sorry sir, but your ticket was sold in a package through a third party. I can't see your reservation" Moral of the story...... Vegas.com is a scam, they sell you a first class seat, book you in steerage. Don't expect any help from their customer service. Here's an idea, use a travel agent or American Express to book to R vacation to Vegas, at least you'll have a real human to talk to if things go south!
