Vehicle Protection Center Refusal to provide prompt refund I agreed to a protection plan. My credit card was charged. When I called back less than four hours after the transaction, they refused to REFUND my credit card. They said important documents had been mailed. I should review first. Cancellation instructions were included. Internet
I was contacted by Vehicle Protection Center on April 20, 2015. They claimed that they could provide coverage for my older model 2009 TSX Acura. After some discussion with "Terry." I agreed to their terms and provided a credit card to secure funds for four-years of coverage with Vehicle Protection Center with United Car Care of Colorado providing the actual repairs. Within TWO HOURS and after speaking with my lawyer, I decided I DID NOT want their services. I called back and spoke with a Michael from Vehicle Protection Center. I requested to cancel the policy immediately. He REFUSED. He stated that the company had already sent out important documents, including cancellation instructions. Furthermore, he INSISTED repeatedly that I shouldr review the policy before cancelling. He indicated that services were transferable if I were to purchase a new vehicle. I asked Michael at least 10 TIMES to CANCEL the policy today and refund or credit my credit card (Discover). HE WOULD NOT. I finally hung up the phone. That was one of the most frustrating experiences ever! I DO NOT recommend to anyone to do any business with this company.
