Complaint Review: Vehicle Service Department

Ar first glance the letter looks legitimate with a logo and title:VEHICLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT

                                                                                         VEHICLE DOCUMENT ALERT NOTICE

                                                                                          PERSONAL & CONFIDENTIAL                                           accompanied by the "EXAMPLE REPAIR INVOICE ENCLOSED"                                                                                             (it even looked like it could have been sent by the NY state department of motor vehicles!)

However, I have used the same service for every Subaru I have owned for more than 25 years, so it was obvious to me that while the "Notice" appeared legitimate, it was not.
