Complaint Review: velahos law firm/national forclosure consulting

Dec.2008 I was injured on the job and due to the worker's comp. process fell behind on my morgage. I was contacted by the National forclosure consuting group/velahos law firm and assured that for $2,000.00 dollars they could save my home, and on the outside chance that they could not, would refund my money less the filing fee for the paperwork and attorney fees. This fee of coarse had to be paid in full before they could work on my case.

Uable to work,but unwilling to give up,I gave them the $2,000 dollars(which was the last of my funds)to represent me.BIG MISTAKE! After stringing me along for about 3 months they call me 1hour before the scheduled forclosure sale of my home and say that for $1,500.00 dollars more the morgage company has agreed to help.ONE HOUR to come up with $1,500.00 more dollars for a guy who is injured and can't work. As for a refund of my money?.........Yeah Right, they won't return my calls.Beware these creatures are bottom feeders and prey on the people who trust them.
