Vemma, Kaption Media, Inc.; Michael Wei THIEVES! Omaha Nebraska
Several months ago, I received a postcard mailing touting the ability to make money as an independent distributor of products for weight loss and nutrition. Since I'm interested in those kinds of products, and since I couldn't find anything negative on the web at the time, I paid $9.95 for postage and handling for a "kit" which cost $39.95. I was under the impression I was also going to receive a few samples to see what I would actually be representing.
The "kit" turned out to be a DVD containing the same information on the Vemma website, a booklet, and a description of only two products. Since it was so sketchy, I kept assuming I was getting a few samples, and I kept waiting for them.
When I got billed for the $39.95, I called my recruiter, Mike Wei, and advised him I never received the kit. Imagine my surprise when I found what I had received WAS the kit! So of course I wanted my money back, as per their promise.
I sent the DVD back on 10/16/14 via USPS Insured, because I fully expected them to say they never received it. According to the USPS, it was received on 10/21. It's now 11/16...and I'm still waiting for my refund.
Of course, now I'm finding all sorts of negative reports about this group. I guess the moral of the story is, do your "due diligence," and if you can't find anything about the company, put the offer aside for a couple of months, and then do a new search. Whatever you do...DON'T hook up with Vemma, Kaption Media, or Michael Wei!
