I have been dealing with Vending Dreams since Nov. 2004. I contracted them for 31 machines. The locator came out and got me all 31 locations, but only 15 went in. I have been trying to get these other 16 locations since Jan 2005. I have spoken to every one in the company and no help. After a year of trying, I just wanted my money back and that never happened.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General of IL. BBB just closed my file as unresolved and Attorney General has done nothing. Does anyone know what else to do?

I just heard today that Vending dreams went out of business, so I guess a lawsuit is out of the question. I do not feel for these employees that did not get paid one paycheck. They had to know what Jim & Susan were doing. I spoke to Ashley and Staci many times and if they had a heart they would have done something. Look at how many people lost so much money from this scam of a business. I cannot beleive that today in the US something like this can take place and there is nothing that we can do about it. If someone can me or anyone else that has been rip offed by Vending Dreams, please let me know.

Hi Thomas,

I sent letters to the Office of The Attorney General and they did nothing. The only thing that I can recommend is that you start sending letters now to the AG. Make sure you reference that Jim Ellis was the owner of Vending Dreams and filed for bankruptcy. He is now doing the same thing under a new name. This is fraud that he is doing and getting away with it. The AG office was supposed to sue them at the beginning of the year for consumer fraud and they waited too long because now they went bankrupt. I would just send letters to the BBB and the AG, if that will even help.

hi andrea. i had the same problem. the company jim ellis is representing now is called priority placement. he is an excellent saleman and sells his contract with the empty promises claiming they will locate the machines, replace any lost locations, and guarantee your investment in the 1st 2yrs or they will cut you a check for the difference. every month you submit revenues from each machine and if it doesn't produce the income they will send a locator out to move it to another location. so far after giving my deposit i heard nothing from the company. i paid a locator bill poses to come out and locate my machines however i have had 8 machines come back in the last couple days. i placed 4 back in myself. its a real shame whats going on. what can we do????

Let me make it clear. Your not getting money back and I have news for all of you that on the bbb.org website if you list the company they have declared bankruptcy which I knew they were going to do. I'd say go after the state of Ill. and let them know how you feel.

My locator was Joe Ruggerio out of NJ. I tried calling him a few times and he would not give me the time of day. I am dealing with The Office of the Attorney General, but I have not heard anything from them. Have you filed a complaint with them?

I have had the same issue, only a portion of the machines went into locations, but the person who located the machines got the all the locations for my machines. Who was your locator?
