Venus Factor is by far the worst purchase I've ever made. First of all, the video they provide advertising their product is extremely misleading. (This is a weightloss program). In their video, they make it appear as if you will be receiving several separate books that include the entire venus factor program. Once you have already paid, you will soon find out you don't even recieve a physical copy! They send you a pdf file of the book. Ha! What a joke.

But here's where it gets really bad. They insist they have a money back guarantee. Their website even states in writing "We are so convinced youll be blown away from results with Venus Factor that we offer a full 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Simply email support@venusindex.com any time within 60 days of your purchase if you're not completely happy with your product and we will issue you a prompt refund within 48 hours." However, they will not follow this guarantee.

I requested a refund prior to 60 days after my purchase. Customer service bombarded me with questions of why I didn't like the product instead of refunding me. After a few weeks went by, I hadn't received my refund. I followed up with another email request, in which I included a track record of dates and times of my previous conversations with customer support while requesting a refund. I was told I could expect a refund in 10-14 business days. I waited, and waited. Nothing. No refund. I followed up AGAIN and let them know I had not been refunded (again providing them with specific dates, names and other important info). Someone replied and told me they would "pass it on to their billing department." Their response didn't sound promising, but I decided to be patient and keep waiting. A few weeks went by and I still never received a refund. I emailed them again with an update of my lack-of-refund situation. I was simply ignored. Never even recieved a response.

At this point, I became extremely fed up and contacted ClickBank. ClickBank is their official retailer and processes Venus Factor's payments. I spoke with a woman from ClickBank's customer service and gave her all the details of my situation. She told me she was refunding my account and I would receive it in 3-5 business days. Surprise surprise, no refund ever came.

I just got off the phone with another customer service rep from ClickBank today. He was extremely rude over the phone and suggested I had missed my window of opportunity for a refund. I assured him my original request that I had placed SEVERAL months ago was simply not taken care of properly by customer service. He was snippy with me and told me I would have to provide him with evidence of this or else he wouldn't do anything. Due to my previous phone call, I know he was just being difficult. When I spoke with the woman on the phone before him, she was able to see all of my previous requests and contact with Venus Factor and ClickBank through my order confirmation number, which I also provided this customer service man with. He was being as difficult as possible.

Luckily for me, I sensed Venus Factor's fishiness from the get-go of asking for my refund once I didn't recieve it, so I had kept ALL of my emails between all customer service reps. I was able to forward these emails to this ClickBank rep in order to prove I requested a refund in time and that this was their problem, not mine. He put me on hold for about 15 minutes while he chatted with his manager. After he took me off hold, he told me my emails provided enough proof for them to refund my account and that I should see it within 3-5 business days.

Hopefully this time it really happens. If not, I will consider taking legal action. I am only expecting a $47 refund. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that much. But what this company is doing is absolutely insane. They are simply lying about refunding their customers! Probably telling customers they will be refunded, then customers forget about it and never even check their bank statement to confirm. Absolute scam. WORST experience of my entire life in terms of customer service. I can assure you I read all the fine print and this is not me just being some rude, demanding customer who didn't read up on the policy. I followed the policies exactly and kept track of everything. Still, this company has blown me off time after time. I will not settle until I've received a FULL refund, as I was promised. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy from them!

I recently came across the complaint entitled, "Venus Factor ,AKA: John Barban, BioTrust Nutrition, Joel Marion, ClickBank, Scam all around. Refund guarantee is a total lie! Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Boise Idaho."

 

I would like to offer my assistance in resolving this customer’s issues. However, after reading through the complaint, there was no mention of BioTRUST, only Venus Factor and ClickBank. I don’t understand why “BioTrust,” and co-owner “Joel Marion,” were referenced within the title.

 

BioTRUST Nutrition has a 1 year money back guarantee, not 60 days as indicated in the complaint, and our customer service email address is support@biotrust.com, not support@venusindex.com. This makes me wonder whether this complaint against BioTRUST is valid.

 

Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority, as is reflected by our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I am happy to research this customer's order, confirm whether or not a refund was issued, and refund them accordingly if they are in our records.
