Yet another complaint about Venus Voicemail Service. In March 2003 I received a card in the mail that led me to believe that I was being signed up for Venus Voicemail which I did not want. I call the number on the card to make sure that I was not getting the service, and told them in no uncertain terms that I did not want it, and was told that I would not be receiving their service then.

On my next phone bill there was a charge for the service, so I called the customer service number to let them know that I DID NOT sign up for Venus Voicemail Service and wanted it removed immediately. There response was that due to the time in their billing period one more charge would appear on my bill, but that in a couple of months they would issue a check to my phone company to rectify the mistake. Well now it's Aug 16, 2003 and the charge for $39.04 is still on my phone bill. The Better Business Bureau needs to know about Venus Voicemail's unethical and likely illegal practices.
