Complaint Review: VERDE ENERGY

This company came to my home soliciting their energy services in 2009. I signed up with them thinking I would save money. Their rates at the time I signed up were a little lower than Atlantic city elec. As time went on, unknown to me as I was on a paperless bill, there started to increase my rates until I finally caught them in March 2014 charging me .1865 per KWH when Atlancit City Electrics rate was .0907!!!!! I cancelled their service in March of 2014 but it took until May to really get rid of them. My electric company ACE was no help either. When I tried to get a refund from them by withholding payment ACE paid them first and had me as delinquent!!!    Do not sign with this company!!!    Big Ripoff!!!
