Complaint Review: Allied Interstate

Verison Wireless Allied Interstate ripoff consumer rip-off fraud Oceanside New York

I very stupidly signed for 3 verision phones as a favor to a sibling for his boss and 2 employees with the promise that they would never run up the bill.

After they had them for almost 5 years I received a bill from Allied Interstate for Verison Wireless saying I owed over $7,000 on these phones.

To make a long story short I stettled with Verison Wireless for over $4,200 and suddenly today April 15, I get another bill from Allied Interstate for $2,742.70 for Verison Wireless.

I am so sick of this mess. I am not going to pay it as Allied told me that Verison Wireless accepted the $4,200 and that I was paid in full.

What do I do?

What the rebuttal has said is true accept that even with proving you paid 4200 dollars. That proof is irrelevant obviously if your bill is no longer 7200 your payment was recieved so proving you made it is poiuntless... without a settlemnt letter, the balance is due...

Did you get a pre settlement or settled letter from Allied Interstate ?

If not , I am sorry to say that you are screwed and verizon will probably put it on your credit report... Unless you have proof to send Allied then they will send it back to verizon as a refusal to pay...

Did you send a check or pay by phone with a credit card ?

If you sent a check I hope you wrote in the memos settlement for verizon...It is best to send all payments to a colletion agency in check form with notes in the memos specifically stating if it is a payment, settlement, or payment in full... Without those things you can easily get stuck with the bill over and over again.. I'm sorry that this happened to you BUT I hope you did something to track your settlement payment...

screwed anyways ...Sorry
