Verizon - Assurion - VERIZON WIRELESS - ASURION CELL PHONE INSURANCE replaced my phone under full coverage insurance with a junk several times Nationwide
My son, a college student in California, lost his phone in December, 2008 so I ordered a replacement for him under my extended Verizon insurance plan (insurance company is Asurion) that costs me extra. The phone is a defect that the touch screen wouldn't respond frequently. My son still kept it anyway until in February, he was robbed in his room (with a police report) and lost the cell phone again. I then ordered him through Asurion again. After less than three months, he phone died, wouldn't charge up. My son is so busy these days for the final exams so I called Asurion but they refused to talk to me since I don't have the phone with me to troubleshoot?
So, that's two-in-a-roll that we received defect replacements. I have been paying that extra insurance to Verizon for a full coverage and I believe I deserve a brand new replacement phone. Each replacement, I had to pay additional $50 deductible. Is there any class action against Verizon and Assurion? Contact me at jimchyou@yahoo.com
I am a GM employee that receive very minimum merit increase for the past 5 years and just had a 7% pay-cut starting May 1, 2009. I care any penny that people rip me off. Thank you.

After my complaint, Asurion Cell Phone Insurance company contacted me several time and offered to replace the defect phone. They showed the passion and sincere to me as a customer. We finally had a good resolution that made me satisfied.
Maybe I was unlucky before but I am sure I am luck to work with Asurion who really cares about their reputation and customer feedback.
Thank you, Asurion!

Your complaint is with ASURION, an insurance company. Why then, are you placing the complaint against Verizon Wireless? You do realize they are separat companies, and the Verizon doesn't make any money on insurance? They are merely passing through the charge from Asurion to you.
So issue a complaint here about Asurion and in the future take care on what you are doing!
