I contacted Virizon on April 11th after a sales agent from Empire Rail Car Corporation contacted me on my personal cellular telephone. I asked the sales individual how he got my cellular telephone # and he said his corporate office gave it to him. I then called Verizon and spoke to two different individuals who mumbled their names. I then got the name of the supervisor, Mark Perry, and was told that he would call me within 24-48 hours. No call so far.

I then went on the internet to file a complaint directly with Ivan Seidenberg, CEO of Verizon. No call so far.

My next step is to file a complaint with the California Attorney General's office against Verizon for violating state and federal laws regarding my telephone confidentiality.

In addition I would like to be contacted by a consumer advocate or government authority to investigate this and help resolve this issue.

I still have not heard from any Verizon representative regarding the alledged breech of cellular telephone confidentiality.

4/12/05 - verbal conversation with two verizon customer agents and the promise that Mark Perry, Supervisor would contact me within 48 hours.

4/13/05 - email to Verizon CEO, Ivan Seidenberg regarding the alledged breech of cellular telephone confidentiality.

4/15/05 - FAX sent to Verizon Security Control Center in Irving, TX.; with an attached copy of the email I sent to Ivan Seidenbeerg.

What am I to do to get a resolution to my problem?
