Complaint Review: Verizon Fios

Verizon Fios, Verizon Wireless Free Tablet when you sign up - NOT! Nationwide

Verizon Fios reps were in Walmart and asked to talk with us about our internet provider. We stopped, talked and heard the pitch. Better faster service, Okay - PLUS - If you sign up with us, we will give you a FREE LG TABLET too. Okay - You got me. 

So I switch form my present internet service to VERIZON FIOS. - The service is okay, not really any better than my last provider however I never got my free tablet. They somehow just "forgot" to email me my coupon. 

so...spend over 45 minutes on the phone explainning the situation. still no tablet, 

Then we're told, by someone else, if you don't receive an email in 48 hours let us know...awesome, so I get to wait on hold some more??? too cool. 

No email after 5 days. I call again, - oooops, they are so sorry. - Indeed I get the email a few months after I signed up.  but...Here is the kicker. 

In order to use the tablet I have to sign up for a 2 year contract at $10 per month. NONE OF THIS WAS EVER MENTIONED - Thats $240!!!! plus a hook up fee. NOT FREEE - am I right? 

So Now, no one can help me, tablet is useless, they don't give a $%^& about me as a customer, hours spent on the phone. all wasted time. So these guys can go "EF" Themselves. As usual, a big company finds a way to hose the little guys. D***. They got me. 

 

Stay away from these hosers!!!!!!!!!!
