I began my service with Verizon Wireless in September, 2010. From my original order I had issues; missing parts, wrong device, more missing parts, shipping issues; the worst of the issues was the customer service. The endless series of repeated questions, most irrelavent to the issue, the refusal to let me speak to someone who could help me, the constant reminders of what they 'can't do', 'don't handle', or 'aren't able to assist with'.

After several months of this nonsense I reported these issues to the executive office of Verizon, as well as to the BBB. I contonued to file complaints with the BBB, Verizon's executive office, and I added the FCC, the FTC, and an advisory letter to the Chamber of Commerce in Albequerque.

The complaints rarely met a reply, and never found a resolution. In January of 2013, a female named Patrice KcKnight claiming to work for Verizon Exectuive Office in Atlanta, GA, called me to threaten to shut off my service. She cited a letter I was supposed to have eceived in May of 2012, but she later admitted that the letter was never delivered to me. In February of 2013 she shut off my service, without discussion of why, without discussion of how to resolve the issue, and without regard to me, as a customer. As a Verizon Wireless customer, I relied on my celluar phone for voice and data service while I was working as an Over the Road truck driver. Without that link to my family, friends, company, and data for finding locations, I was left "in the dark", and I made Ms. McKnight aware of that. She refused to discuss the issue and closed the account anyway.

I moved on, created a solution, and things were going fine, until I started receiving bills in the mail from Verizon, in the amounts of $1073, and $121. I called Ms. McKnight about these, and she refused to discuss them with me. I spoke to several rude and useless agents in the billing department who were happy to repeat the amount due, but would not tell me what the charges were for, or anything else. Now i'm receiving letters from a debt collector who also refuses to discuss the bills with me, but is happy to repeat the amount due.

I believe I do not owe any money because Verizon chose to shut off my account in the middle of my billing cycle that was already paid.
