I was falsely charged $1,700+ on a bill about 5 years ago. I sued verizon wireless and their collection agency (CCA) Collection Company of America in Colorado.

I seeked Counsel in August, 2001. The Defendants exactly: Verizon Wireless: Collection Company of America; Terry Jones (collections agent for CCA) and John Does 1-5 and ABC Corporations 1-5

Verizon dropped all charges. Their collection agency paid me $1,000 and agreed to remove the negative report from my credit report.

Last fall CCA sold the debt, (which does not exist) to Pinacle Collections who constantly haunt me to pay up. They have destroyed my credit from 7.68 down to 6.?. Anything I apply for I am turned down.

The first call I received from Pinnacle Collections, (approx. July/Aug. 2005) I was threatened. I was told if I did not pay up, to check my credit report and see what they can do. The call came from Mike.

I am in receipt of a copy of the original papers filed in the Superior Court of Arizona in and for the County of Maricopa.

Thank you for your in put, however I have an attorney looking at it right now. These people damaged my credit reputation and I am sure they have done to many others; I want to discredit them. I've worked too hard to maintain an excellent credit rating, they need to take responsibility for what they have accused me of.

Hi, I'm sorry about your experiences. Can't you just send copies of the court papers to this new collections company? I know that's a hassle you shouldn't have to go through but better that than ruining your credit report.
