A Verizon customer representative called to promote their product.  I told her that as soon as our contract was up, we would be switching to a different company.  I gave her the phone numbers involved, and she told me that the contract for my two phones has been out of contract for quite some time.  Two months after, Verizon has decided that the contract was not up, so they charged me an early termination fee.  They said it was my fault - that I should have called Verizon to check and not taken the word of their rep.  This is that absolute worst company ever to deal with.
