Complaint Review: Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless Charging me $70 for ten days of service, even when I canceled my account within the 14 day time line. Grand Rapids, Michigan

I signed up for service with Verizon & the phone I received  was junk, it only worked some of the time. I tried to call customer service & got the run-around with them. I took it back to the store & again, got the run around. Finally, my husband came home & I decided to return the phone prior to the 14 day contract cancellation time. The person I dealt with both times is Gregory Paul. He is a shyster, he will have you buying things you don't even need.  He had me purchase screen protectors even though the case I bought with it had protection for it. He told me that I needed then anyway. He told me that there was a $35 restocking fee, (which was fine) but today I received a bill in the mail for the 11 days I had the phone & I am being charged $174.25. They told me that this was for the services used. I don;t understand it, I didn't really use it much due to the fact that the phone only worked some of the time. I called them & then they hit me with more crap, it went from $ 174.25 to $ 493.00. I did everything required & still getting the shaft.

Sounds like you were under a 2 year contract and then canceled and you in return were charged ETF Fees.

Read and Understand your contract before signed.
