Complaint Review: Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless I have four Verizon Wireless cell phone lines. The three oldest phones have required new batteries in the 16 months since purchase. Is this an aberration or by design, that the phones do not make it to the twenty-two months Verizon requires before giving credit toward a new phone. ripoff Columbia South Carolina

I had three Verizon Wireless cell phone lines until adding a fourth line on June 3, 2006.

All three previous phones have required new batteries in the 16 months since purchase.

One Phone last week was first said to have a soft ware problem, but less than a week later Verizon after purchase of a new battery said it needed to be replaced.

Is this an aberration or by design, that the phones do not make it to the twenty-two months Verizon requires before giving credit toward a new phone.

Please check your records of past complaints against Verizon Wireless to determine if this an aberration or by design. If these phones frequently fail before the contract period end I would ask you to investigation the business practices of VERIZON.

Who manufactured your phones? Are you charging them when they need a charge, or are you putting them on a charger every night or whenever your are in a car? Who made your battary?

Are you using OEM chargers?

And last, but not least, did you read the portion of your contract with Verizon regarding EQUIPMENT?
