I purchased a USB720 Novatel Air Card on 2/25/08 from Cellular Plus in Gillette, WY. This aircard was to provide internet connection via Verizon. I was told that the speed was "a range of slightly above dial-up & under DSL".

After signing the 2-yr contract, I connected to my BRAND NEW laptop, only to find that the speed is somewhere between dead and dailup. After 2 phone calls to Verizon, I was told I was in a National Access area (non-broadband) & basically, "tough luck". I was informed at this time that Vereizon had a 30 day return policy, but Cellular Plus (the retailer) will not grant me that same 30 day return policy. The retailer provider the venue; not the warranty that I signed to via the contract. I consider this "bait & switch".

My response with 2 Verizon (yes, a higher-up-supervisor) was "a McDonald hamburger in Miami is a McDonald hamburger in L.A.--I bought Broadband in Gillette, WY, I want Broadband in DesMoines". Her reply was "we only supply the service, --talk to Cell Plus".
