On 4/29/2002 I purchased 2 phones through the store in Lawrence KS with a 15day refund guarantee if I decided not to go with their service . I found a better deal at another company and cancelled my service a few days(5-7 days?)later.

When I went to return the phones to them, they refused to take the phones back because one of them did not contain all of the original packaging although the other one did.

I went home and called their corporate office(Ph#: 913-696-6000, address: 7801 W 119th St. Overland Park, KS 66213)and talked to a man by the name of Tony who apologized and told me to bring the phones in and that a check would be issued with my next billing statement. I took the phones in and gave them to the secretary. She issued a handwritten and signed verification that she received the phones from me.

The statement came with no check in it so I contacted cust. srvc. and was told that a check would arrive in 2-3 weeks. I threw away the receipt(my screw-up)thinking it was being handled because they were polite--at first. No check arrived. A year later they said I need to prove the phones were returned. I can't now. I just want my money back.
