Well to start off I've been paying off my car for more then a year now. I've always tryed to make my payments on time, but my pay dates sometimes makes it hard to make the payment on time. So I called today to see how much my buy out price is, just a little details I'm paying $12,000 on a 2008 used honda fit. Which in the black book states my car is worth only $6,000 at the most.! So I was overcharged on this vehicle to begin with, but that's not all I found out that if I can't make my car payment on time I'm being charged $20.50 per day! So I tryed switching my payment date and I was told I need to pay off a year before they can change anything! So a year later they decide to tell me that within the ten days they give me! which they call those ten days your (grace period) then you will be charged a late fee. So I come to find out that I'm making payments of $345.00 a month and only $100.00 is going to my (pb) if that! I am being ripped off by this company And they don't help me at all. I am a young man that works hard for my money and have kids it makes it hard to make these payments when I'm paying for a car that isn't even worth all that money.! never do business with veros credit!! Even if you make your payments on time you will still be charged with hidden fees.! I'm never going to be able to finish my payments with the way they run things. The car is also in pretty bad shape I was 19 yrs old and was expecting my baby boy soon so I needed a vehicle and those sharks seen that I was in need.!! Please help stop these crooks!!!

Florida,

Specifically, what is the rip-off?

You signed a contract to pay an agreed upon price so the value of the vehicle is not relevant.

You are unable to keep your payments current so why did you inquire about an early payoff? What are the hidden fees? Specifically, what is the rip-off? The late payment penalty fees are in that contract.

You admit that you failed to honor the terms of the loan agreement. Please validate your claim that they are crooks by telling us what part of the loan agreement the lender violated.

“they don't help me at all”

They loaned you money to purchase a car. What additional help do you expect? A lender is under no obligation to change the terms of a loan agreement. That includes payment due dates and penalties.
