To all you customers who have been ripped off, I give my sincerest apoligizes. I will be very straight forward, ya i knew the card i was selling was a scam, and i knew it was wrong. Sure the supervisors and management staff told us almost every day it wasn't, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I am sure all you who have been ripped off 221.95 really don't care that us as employees lost our jobs, found out we weren't getting paid, 5 days before rent was due, and so on, you probably think it is funny and you know what so would I. What goes around comes around... I've heard it a million times and its true. I consider myself a very moral person, but we were put in a position that is hard to get out of. I'm not sure about the pay in the North Dakota centers, but here in saskatoon, we were getting paid about $4.00 more an hour than minnimum wage and around here to get a job that pays in that area without any schooling is tough to find.
When i started working there, it was completely legit, bank one, target, and other legit companies were all we sold for. Then slowly the whole center turned to this global financial, which at the beginning we obviously believed was a good upstanding company. I myself have never sold for any company that would rip people off, but then slowly, people started to get suspicious. Finding reports on websites such as this one, and rumors were going around everywhere. Anyone who says they didn't know is either a complete idiot and are just too stupid to figure it out, or they are a hypocrite and are too afraid to admit it, or too ashamed to.
Believe me i did look for other jobs, i didn't wanna work 5 days a week for a "company" who ripped people off. But like i said there was nothing that would pay even close, i have kids, i have a mortage, car payments, etc. I wasn't about to take a job at Mc Donalds, i had responsabilitles to live up to, and i wasn't about to let my kids go hungry.
So in conclusion ya i know it was bad what i was doing, i got pressured into it, and i did try to get out of it, but its not always that easy. Like I said I do give my apoligizes but realistically, anyone who seriously believes that they can get a credit card that has 0% interst for life, and gets over $1000 worth of benefits, all for "one easy payment of 221.95" was bound to get ripped off sooner or later, just take this as a lesson learned!

I was ripped off in April 2003 by Global Financial for $221.95. Your excuses and your pleas make no difference. What you did was steal from people!!!! Pure and Simple!! You Stole money from people. I do believe that makes you a thief???? Does it matter what your reasons were?? I have had hard times in my life too but I still was always able to find honest work to make a living.

Ok so by the sounds of things you were one of the idiots i was speaking of before. I seriously find it hard to believe that you had no idea that the company you were working for was atleast a little sketchy.
Like seriously, you obviously come on websites like this, like really did you think that all these people just came on here and lied. "Oh well i guess if my supervisors and management said its ok it is, who cares about the hundreds of people on here wrote" Like is that really what went through your mind.
Its possible that you didn't know the extent of it, but to really have absolutely no idea what is going on, you must have been really clueless. OPEN YOUR EYES get with reality here. and for your coment that said "Everyone went through verification so there is no way the reps could have lied" The verification officers were told to mumble over the part where it says you have no line of credit, why do you think they were doing that? Did you ever hear of a "didn't want a pay as you go cancel?" those were the people who actually listened and picked up on it. like there were so many signs and if you seriously didn't pick up on them, you must be living on some other planet, or just seriously stupid. and by the sounds of things, the people you worked with don't know who you are "heidi" so who's the hyprocite now?

I am going to make this brief just so i can keep my name clean and move on.
I am not Heidi nor do i claim to be Heidi. Yes,Tanner, Heidi is a name that i used on the phones when dealing with customers but i don't have an opinion on this website about anything until now and if i did i would use my real name such as i am doing now. So i am Heather and if i wanted to say anything i would use my real name, i have nothing to hide from anyone.
Also Tanner,where were you Wednesday night and today? This afternoon when there was meetings held on steps to take against WebSmart to get our paychecks and where were you when all of the city council meetings were going on? Where was your "outspoken" self then?? I was there and i do believe 14-15 other people that were there can VOUCH FOR ME,not you. So don't pretend to be the "Speaker of the formerly employed" when i haven't seen your a*s at a single gathering. So before you come at me with acquisations,you might want to make sure you know EXACTLY who you are talking about before you start writing crap about them.

You need to think long and hard about your part that you played in this as well before you speak. So I think I will remind you:
I remember the day just like it was yesterday you were standing outside the doors when they were closed and you were crying your eyes out cause you had no job. Then it even gets better there were people that had went to John's house with a number of people and who was one YOU! Then you have the nerve to say we should leave these people alone them and their poor poor families. You were right there with everyone else.
Your having a change of heart is it because maybe you received your paycheck. As for rainy days it sure rained on you the day the doors closed didnt it or was those just the tears you had from your own little rain dance.
We will continue to bash these owners until they are stopped basically so they wont do it again. Your a supervisor so lets see what were you telling the customers when they demanded speaking with a Supervisor what lines were you feeding them how honest were you!
These people put their families through it not us do you actually think they cared about what they did to our families I sincerely doubt it. Sure they have money stashed away for their rainy days bet you did not see any of them crying tears like you have.
I hope people think twice before giving men with names like Skronwek or Buzz or Dino what names for such professional crooks. You go ahead on your happy support trail there HEIDI OR IS IT HEATHER you don't even know your own name and your trying to give advice keep it to yourself cause no one cares.

That's the biggest line of crap i have ever heard. First of all, i would like to know who your supervisor was and how they managed to keep a job by telling you to lie to the customers. All customers had to go through a verification process where they were told exactly what was going to happen and exactly what they were going to receive so the reps couldn't get away with lying even if we wanted to. You are looking to place the blame on someone else for your self pity, if you wanted another job that didn't rip people off money would'nt have mattered and also you say and i quote "people are afraid and ashamed to admit it" your thr one who continues to use the term "anonymous employee" so who is afraid now.
You knew what you were doing and thought it was so awfully wrong and such a rip off you would've found another job, but i bet when you were bonusing $200 a week it took away from the pain you were feeling inside.
You are so full of crap that you make me want to puke. For any other employee who felt that they were pressured into selling something that they thought was soooo bad, i say to you, get some self esteem so you can stop passing judgement on everyone else for your pity problems and really if it was soooo important to you not to feel like you were ripping people off, you would've taken a job at McDonalds no matter what.
So boo-h*o anonymous employee. Go cry a river to someone else, no other employee is going to feel sorry for you nor is any consumer out there.
