VESTA *AT&T PREPAID 800-2247679 OR Entered $ 63.45 on my Visa credit cardd for prepaid phone. I paid last Oct. for a year. Hardly ever use phone-no cell service in the town. Tigard, Oregon

Placed $63.45 charge in my Visa card. Feb. 12,2011,  without my knowledge. Have never heard of them. I pay once a year, and have paid last Oct. Hardly ever use cell phone because we don't have service in our town. Where did this company come from?

In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here. Remember… Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report ..
