I've owned the same AT&T prepaid calling card for many years. I used the auto refill plan through Vesta Corp without a hitch for most of those years. Several months ago, I acquired a long distance plan on my home phone and didn't need my calling card anymore. I called to cancel the auto refill plan.

In April, 2007 my credit card was charged to refill the card. I called again to cancel the service and was assured that I would not be charged again. In July, 2007 my card was charged AGAIN. After an hour talking with Vesta customer service people, I was informed that they have a strict no refund policy and I have no recourse on this situation.

I am furious and hope that this report will help others to be smarter about their choices.
