VIA TALK RAN A PROMOTION BACK IN APRIL OF 2006 OFFERING 24 MONTHS OF PHONE SERVICE FOR $199. I SPENT HOURS UPON HOURS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO THEM TO ONLY BE DISCONNECTED AFTER GETTING THROUGH. NEEDLESS TO SAY BY THE END OF THE DAY I NEVER SPOKE TO A SINGLE PERSON. THE NEXT DAY HOWEVER I GOT RIGHT THROUGH, THE DAY THE PROMOTION WAS OVER. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP ME WITH THAT PROMOTION, IT WAS OVER, AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THEY LET ME SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR, MR. M.M. ON APRIL 28 @11:35 AM WHO TOLD ME HE AS WELL CAN NOT GO BACK AND GIVE ME THE EXPIRED PROMOTION BUT THAT THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER PROMOTION IN ABOUT 5 DAYS (HE DIDNT' SAY WHAT IT WOULD BE) AND TO WATCH FOR IT. HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE PROBLEMS AND TOLD ME WHEN I SIGN UP FOR THE NEW ONE, THAT HE WOULD GIVE ME "FREE SHIPPING AND THERE WOULD BE NO ACTIVATION FEE". WELL I WATCHED THEIR SITE EVERYDAY AS INSTRUCTED BY MR. M.M. AND IT WASN'T UNTIL AUGUST 1 OF 2006 THAT THEY EVEN RAN ANOTHER PROMOTION WHICH WAS ALSO 24 MONTHS FOR $199. I SIGNED UP AND DID AS HE INSTRUCTED ME TO DO, I PUT IN THE NOTES WITH HIS NAME, THAT THERE WOULD BE NO SHIPPING OR ACTIVATION FEE DUE TO PRIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES. WELL, THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT AND WHEN I CALLED MR. M.M. TODAY AUGUST 2, HE
COMPLETELY DENIED EVER TELLING ME ANY SUCH THING AND SAID HE WOULD NEVER OFFER THAT TO A CUSTOMER JUST TO GET THEIR BUSINESS AND THAT WHY WOULDN'T HE HAVE JUST SIGNED ME UP RIGHT THEN IF HE WAS GOING TO WAIVE ALL OF THAT?? HE COMPLETELY LIED AND DENIED! HE TOLD ME IN APRIL HE COULD NOT, I REPEAT NOT, SIGN ME UP BECAUSE IT WAS OVER, SO MR. M.M., YOU TELL MY WHY YOU JUST DIDN'T GO AHEAD AND DO THAT? DON'T ASK ME WHY YOU DIDN'T DO SOMETHING THAT YOU TOLD ME WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR CONTROL. BOTTOM LINE IS THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL PRICE, HE COMPLETELY LIED TO ME ABOUT EVER SAYING IT AND SAID UNLESS I HAVE A RECORDING OF THE CONVERSATION THAT HE WAS ENDING THIS CONVERSATION AND ENDED UP HANGING UP ON ME. VERY PITTIFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, I AM AWAITING A REFUND, WE'LL SEE IF HE LIED ABOUT THAT TOO!
