Complaint Review: Victoria's Secret Angel Card

I used VS Angel Credit Card's online bill pay, thinking it would be easy and hassle free. When I tried entering my checking account number it wouldn't accept it and gave me a message that said, "Not a Valid Account Number." So I tried the number on my debit card itself and it accepted it. I looked at my checking account online and it showed the transaction with VS as "Pending".

Well the money never came out of my account and I had no clue got a phone message saying my payment was late. I called the company and they blamed me for entering the worng number and they would not waive the $10 fee for paying my bill over the phone. They said I could drive to VS and pay it in the store, but that costs money too so I said screw it and I paid over the phone and cancelled my card.

NEVER GET A VS ANGEL'S CARD!!!!! The hard inquiry to get the card stays on your credit report for 2 years (too many make your credit score go down and people will be less opt to give you loans).

And just a 30 day late payment will stay on your credit report for 7 YEARS!!! All of this will affect my credit score and make it hard for me to get a loan for a home or school.
