The way they get you to buy is they promise to purchase your old timeshare and apply the purchase price to theirs. The promise was that since they were taking our timeshare off our hands we would never have to worry about maintenance fees again begauce they won't ever charge any fees. Upon returning home from vacation and having a chance to read all the fine print we realized there were fees, also this was a 10year contract not a lifetime as primised during our presentation.
However, my biggest concern was the transfer of our timeshare. TRM contact us and stated that we could keep our timeshare if we wanted. Nathan, the representative for TRM stated that VIDA would still get their money on the backend of the deal even if we wanted to keep our timeshare or not. Nothing that we were told during our presentation has been correct or noted in the contract and now things with TRM seem fishy. I've contact my credit card company and have asked for them to reverse the deposit for a bogus timeshare in Mexico (I'm still waiting to hear back from them).
I could go on and on about the many lies we were told, and I will - I'm going to continue to use all my resources to get my contract cancelled and my money back from these scam artists!!!
