Complaint Review: Vida vacations

Vida vacations Vidanta I was unfortunately lured into buying a $10,000 timeshare from the "Vida" vacations, a Grupo Mayan Riviera Maya company, with the promise that they will unload my "Sheraton " timeshare. They made me sign a form that a company called "Equity Acquisition Svc " will do this for me. They also said that I can pay the down of $3500 through their " in house financing ". I later realized that they opened a credit card for me. The sales pitch was all too fast the the next thing I knew was I signing on lines thatcI have not really understood. I tried calling the "EAS" number but only to listen to an answering machine. After reading all these scam stories about "The Mayan " and "EAS", the more I am convinced that I was scammed !!! I called and emailed them aabout "rescinding". I also called BOA Visa card filing a billing dispute as I felt I was deceived by these people. Quintana Roo Mexico

I was lured into buying a timeshare "Vida" vacations in Cancun, Mexico in exchange for them to get rid of my "Sheraton " timeshare. The "Equity Acquisition Svc " company will be trading it in for me. They said that I can pay the down payment through their "in house financing ". I later realized that they applied a credit card for me and already got $3500.00 from the card. After receiving the physical card at home, I called Visa card and filed a billing dispute. I did not realize that this was the "in house..." and that I will have to get my own financing to pay the remaining $6500. After reading all these rip off reports, I am convinced that I am a victim. I called "Vida"customer service and emailed them of my "rescinding ". She said somebody will contact m e. I called "EAS" but nobody answers . It is true, what I read from the victims about the promises they were told.

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:

I hope you can solve your problem, good luck!
