I never got any thing from the video professor and I called them and they say you have to return in 2 weeks. First they cheated and never it was written any where on the internet form that I will be charged with 190 when I signed up on the internet.

It may be on the enclosed mail but I don't know. But this is a d**n cheating.

I will never buy any thing from these guys and I will tell every one that I know not get into these offers.

I'm no attorney, but I think they could be brought up on charges of mail order fraud for not giving a "timely" refund for products returned within 30 days regardless of their order and refund policies.

It may be easier to just file charges against them, but if you can win a class action suit against them, that would be better since it would cost them more money.

I'll be glad to be a witness against them. I filed a ripoff report from Lonoke, AR about a week ago.

I'd love to see them pay for some of the emotional pain and financial loss they are responsible for.

They are preying on the poor and have a system in place to punish people who don't buy or want a refund.

Its wrong.

I returned my Video Professor via UPS 2nd Day Air with signature confirmation. (I have back-ups including tracking information). It was received by Video Professor on 5-14-09.
I called to check on my refund and was told that I would receive refund in 21 BUSINESS DAYS. I called two weeks later to verify the information. Again, I was told 21 BUSINESS DAYS.
After the 21st business day- I called as I still had not received my refund. I was told that somehow their system missed it. (I find that unreliable information as a web search I completed showed over 250 compaints regarding the exact same issue.)
I was told that they would escalate my refund process (mind you, by this time- I should have already received my refund), and I would receive a refund within 7-10 business days. I asked for a supervisor. I understand payment gateways, etc. I know that when a customer has a card charged- all the company needs to do is to go back into that customer's transaction and push a button that says refund, select a refund amount and it is done. (Although it may take a few days to show up on the customer's financial records.)
When I spoke with the supervisor, I explained that I could report them to the BBB (I work directly with all US and Canadian Offices). The supervisor told me that if I did that it would delay my refund by 30-60 days. Now they started resorting to blackmail.
They have my money and I have no product. I followed their rules/regulations. I was informed by two of their employees that I would have said refund in 21 BUSINESS DAYS. Guess what??? I still don't have it. I have reported them and am filing a class action lawsuit against Video Professor. I have an excellent job and this is simply about principal.
Of which, this company has none.
