The commercial says the disk is FREE, just so you'll buy from Video Professor in the future. It says NOTHING about then charging almost $80 to their charge cards, and making the customer go through hell to get a refund.

This website is loaded with the same complaints about the Video Professor scam, all saying the same thing. Just because you can trick some people to click a box on a deceptive website or fast-talk them doesn't make it right. I think that Video Professor and Girls Gone Wild are tha all time Champion Ripoffs here.

You WILL get a refund

My name is Nick and I work as customer service for Video Professor myself... I just want to say that the free offer you see on TV is absolutely true and you can't get a free lesson for just s&h chgs of $6.95 ($3.69 in CA and OK).

When you call in for that our initial sales rep will also inform you of our review offer, which is required by law that they read the script word for word and get an ok from the customer before enrolling them on that program. The script has been approved by the FTC as well.

So when you call in from the TV and listen to the offers you just simply say no thank you, just like you would if you called any other company to purchase something from them and they started offering you deals. If you just say ok that's fine or whatever without knowing what's going on then you should ask what they mean.

Also, if you do place an order online there is no where on there that it says it is FREE and that's it. You simply pay shipping and handling for a 10 day trial period. If you don't wanna agree to Terms of Use then you shouldn't click I Agree or I Accept. So I would just like to say Video Professor is not a scam and if it was a scam it wouldn't be around for as long as it has. Thank you.

As far as your refund goes you will get the 77.95 back, it's just that on Master Cards for some reason the system does split billings. So the $2 was it's own salesorder and obviously cannot be returned so that gets refunded immediately.

The $77.95 will be refunded within a couple of days of receiving the lesson or CD-Rom back at the warehouse. In the unlikely event you don't get the refund it is simply because we never received the lesson back at the warehouse and all you have to do is call us back at customer service and tell us.

We will offer you a couple offers but we don't make you feel like you have to keep the lessons or charges. So if you are not getting the refund call us at 1-800-525-7763 and explain what's happening.

Mike, I am a former floor manager for Video Professor and just wanted to let you know that even though you may not have reached some one, you still have time to return your lesson for a full refund. You also stated that you thoght about getting a diferent lesson wich is also an opption. You have 20 days to return your lesson for a full refund from the date that the lesson bills. Video Professor is very liberal on this policy though. They will still give you a refund after the 20 days have elapsed. Also you can exchange a lesson 2x's in a 6 month period. Even though I am a former manager for this company I truely believe in the product(s) offered. Please don't believe every thing you read from people that don't read the information provided to them.
